Lee McClain Jr.

He was born July 3, 1928, in Lake City Florida to Elmer Lee Sr. and Roxie Johns McClain.

Lee served in our nation’s Armed Services, first from 1945-1948 where he was honorably discharged following recovery from injuries received in the line of duty. He reenlisted to serve in the Korean War from 1952 to 1955. Lee married Edith Jane Hollister July 29, 1962. They lived in Jacksonville, Florida for almost 54 years. Lee worked as a mechanic until military injuries forced him into an early retirement.

Lee and Edith were members of the First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville.

Lee is survived by his brothers Eugene, Bill and Marcus.
