Lena “Brandy” Nash - Born on September 9, 1922 in Fairmont W. VA to Generosa and Lazzaro Brandimarte. Lena passed away in Jacksonville, FL on November 22, 2017, after a brief illness. Lena moved to Jacksonville after her retirement from Chrysler in 1978, to be near her sister, Gina Monell. Over her retirement years, Lena made many friends through her love of card playing at the Mandarin Senior Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Generosa and Lazzaro Brandimarte, son Jeffery Nash, sister Gina Monell, brothers Anthony and Angelo Brandimarte. Surviving relatives are daughter-in-law, Jan DeArmas, nieces, Judy M. Holbert, Jeanie M. Taras, Diane B. Ispan, nephews, Tom, Mark, and Chris Monell, many grand and great grand nieces, nephews and cousins. Lena had a long full life and will be missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at Hardage Giddens, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223, Sunday, November 26, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Lena requested donations to the Jacksonville Humane Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
