Linda was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and shared His Gospel with everyone. She was also a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She always put others above herself because she loved making others happy. She was a unique and incredible woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Linda was an amazing cook and loved to cook up huge feasts for her family and anyone else who joined in. Her favorite hobby was being an avid amateur meteorologist. She loved watching thunderstorms and followed the Weather Channel religiously so she could keep on top of our unpredictable Florida weather. She was fondly referred to as the family’s personal Weather Alert System. She also participated in a pillow ministry at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, giving pillows to those in need.
Linda is preceded in death by her father James B. Norman, mother Margaret Norman, and her brother Eugene Rabenstein.
Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years Dale Holloway, son Keith Holloway, daughter Terri Holloway, her precious grandchildren Maggie, Mattie, and Mackenzie Holloway, sister Sandra Young (and husband J.L. Young), and brother Butch Rabenstein.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at Corey-Kerlin, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to First Baptist Church of Jacksonville Florida or to the charity of your choice.
