Margaret loved the Lord and her family. She believed in education, but was unable to remain in school when she was younger. Because of her family’s financial situation she left school and went to work to provide for her family. Later she married and raised a family of her own, but she never forgot her dream of continuing her education. In her seventies she decided to work toward completing her dream and went back to school. She received her Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from NOVA University. Margaret was Assistant Pastor at New Kings Road Church of God and Beverly Hills Church of God. She also stated a small outreach ministry called Haven of Hope which held services at Cathedral Towers in downtown Jacksonville. In the last few years of her life Margaret attended High Praise International Fellowship, 2323 Edgewood North, Jacksonville where her granddaughter Apostle Robin F. Taylor presides.
She was the daughter of John Henry Harris and Daisy Reynolds Harris. Margaret was born January 9, 1918 in Statesboro, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John, and sisters Flora (Tiny) McClendon, Annie Rose Key and her son A. P. Crawford.
On January 29, 2013, Margaret left this life to begin her ultimate journey serving the Lord in Heaven. She leaves celebrating her full life: daughter, Marva N. Miller (Johnny Sr.); her grandchildren, Valorie Crawford Jenkins, Tony C.
