Marie Stephanie Fox

M. Stephanie Fox, 64, passed away November 22, 2011. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on August 2, 1947, the daughter of James C. and Marie Stephens Fox. She is survived by her sister, Montrose S. Fox of Jacksonville, FL, her brother, James C. Fox, Jr. (Mary Jo) of Great Falls, VA; niece, Kathleen Fox Lesniak (Steve) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, three nephews, Michael Fox (Carolyn) of Paramus, NJ, Matthew Fox (Melissa) of Potomac Falls, VA, and John Fox (Dominique) of Zurich, Switzerland and four grand-nieces and a grand-nephew. Stephanie graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1965, and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from American University in Washington, DC in 1969. She spent 40 years working as a social worker for The State of Florida. Her career included years with The Department of Children and Families, The Department of Elder Affairs and most recently with The Agency for Health Care Administration. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1773 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice, 5450 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
