Mary Ellen Beechner, age 83, passed away on September 15, 2016 at the Hadlow Center for Caring Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on December 17, 1932 in Cottonwood, AL to Jessie Thomas and Mary Carolyn Fears.
She lived most of her life in Jacksonville, FL and prior to retirement she was an Assistant Manager with A.B.C. Liquors for 30 years.
She was a member of the Faith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Beechner of Folkston, GA, her daughter, Carol Beechner McGrath and her grandson Garrett McGrath both of Jacksonville, she is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on October 1, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
