

Mary Tucker Fouraker, age 71, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on May 13, 2025, after a brave battle with Bile Duct Cancer. She was born as Mary Duncan Tucker on October 25, 1953. Her parents were Harold Finley Tucker, Jr. and Nancy Cavanagh Tucker.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Bruce Aaron Fouraker, her mother, Nancy Tucker Howard, her sister Jane Tucker Sigalos (Nickolas) and her nephews, John Tucker Sigalos (Mara) and Jason Nickolas Sigalos (Melissa). She is also survived by her uncle, Dwight Cavanagh (Lynn). She is survived by her cousins, Cate Krensavage (Joseph), William (Billy) Ennis (Kay), Duncan Ennis (Rosanne) her godmother Jacque Chalmers Williams Loomis.
Mary is survived by stepbrothers David A. Howard, Jr. (Sara), Lynn (Russ) Howard (Rory) and Hayes Howard (Elizabeth) and a stepsister Cathy Houser, along with numerous step nephews and step nieces, her great niece and nephew Eva and Leo Sigalos. She was pre-deceased by her father, Harold Finley Tucker, Jr., her step-father, David Asbury Howard and her cousin David Ennis (Donna) and her godmother Evelyn (BeBe) Baker.
Mary attended Stockton Elementary, Bartram Junior High, Ashley Hall High in Charleston and Episcopal High School of Jacksonville. She attended Mary Baldwin College and Florida Southern University (1975) from which she graduated with a degree in communications.
Mary worked in insurance in the mid-1970's then for Florida National Bank through many bank acquisitions for 22 years. After retiring from banking, she worked several jobs with last being grading of different state assessment exams for Pearson Education.
Mary has left behind friends too numerous to count, including her best friend of over 55 years Patty Ubbens.
Mary was a member of the Jacksonville 1972 Debutante Coterie and was in the 1974 Revellers' Court. She loved Ball Room Dancing and was active in the 1980's, earning her Silver Level.
Mary loved the theatre and took part in plays in different community theatres within the Jacksonville area during the 1970s and 1980s. She participated in the Follies in the early 1990s to help raise funds for the Shands Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit. Mary also enjoyed volunteering within the community and devoted her services to the Malivia Washington Youth Foundation, the Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) Artist Series as well as assisting with numerous charity golf tournaments for various organizations.
Mary's life will be honored by a Funeral Service (with Mass) on June 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at All Souls Anglican Church at 4042 Hartley Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257. Mary's godson, Rev. Bo Ubbens, will be officiating with family friend Mrs. Everis Fairchild assisting with the Mass. A private committal (family only) will follow at the cemetery.
The pall-bearers are Jane Sigalos, Johnny Williams, Kyle Mohler, Steve Mohler, John Sigalos, Jason Sigalos, Duncan Ennis, William Ennis and Kelly Bouscher.
Honorary pall bearers are Nickolas Sigalos and David Ubbens.
