Mason Leslie Flint passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on April 26, 2023 at the age of 81. He was a loyal husband of 57 years to Karin Flint, dedicated father to Marin and Derik Flint, and daughter in-law Jackie as well as Opa to Jenna, Lauren, and Cole. As a USMMA graduate and merchant seaman, he met his wife on a cargo ship and then as the years went on, brought his family on many adventures around the world, specifically, Canada, Panama, and the Philippines. Most recently, Captain Flint will be remembered around the port for his work at the Naval Station as a docking pilot and later with McAllister Towing into his retirement.
Special thanks go to Heritage Crossings staff for their care of “Mr. Mason” during his battle with Parkinson’s. The Flint Family will miss him at the head of our table very much.
