

Mildred Roberts Ormerod, native and lifelong resident of FL., passed away March 4, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lake City, daughter of the late George Culver and Joyce (Griffin) Roberts. She was a loving wife, mother and grammie.
An excellent seamstress, Mildred created beautiful clothing for her children. She was also proficient at needlepoint, crocheting and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Howard Ormerod.
Surviving are four devoted children, Cindy Adams (Lenny), Cheryl Browning (Robert), Karen Johnson (Mark), Mark Ormerod (Patricia), six grandchildren, Lesley, Stephanie, Nathan, Benjamin, Christopher and Lauren, 5 great grandchildren, a sister, Frances R. Decker and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207. The Honorable Andrew J. Decker III will officiate. A memorial service will be held at The Allegro, 3651 Hwy. 17, Orange Park, FL, 32003 at 2:00 pm on Saturday.
