

Randolph, Milton Fitz Randolph, Jr., devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, 86, went to be with his Lord on May 11, 20015. Milton was born in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Milton F. Randolph, Sr. and Violet B. Randolph. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Ellenedith (Edie) C. Randolph and his sister, Patricia R. Smith. He is survived by his children: Melodie R. Harrell (George), Columbus, IN; Clint Randolph and Troy Randolph, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: Callie R. Schwinkendorf (Jeff), Steven Harrell (Melissa), Lauren Randolph; and (3) great grand-children. At a young age, Milton’s family relocated from NJ to Daytona Beach, Florida. A Mainland High School graduate, he attended the University of Florida, where he receive his B.S. Business Administration degree (Go Gators!) – a lifelong Gator fan! As a teenager, he served his country during WWII as a member of the junior civil defense beach patrol. He also served as a Corporal in the US Army, 1st Calvary division during the Korean War. Throughout his life, he used his God given talents to minister through music. He served as Music Director at First Baptist Church, St. Marys, GA for 40 years. After retiring, as Accounting Manager from Gilman Paper Co. in St. Marys, GA, he and Edie moved to Ormond Beach, FL. He served as Minister of Visitation for Riverbend Community Church and sang in the worship choir for almost 13 years. More recently, he continued to use his gift and love for the Lord and music by participating in the choir at Grace Community Church, Mandarin. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM on Thursday May 14th at Grace Community Church, 10938 Hood Rd. S., the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM Thursday until the time of the service. Private interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, assisting the family.
