Nameh Khalil, 86, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2008. She was born in Ramallah Palestine and lived for the last 30 yrs in Jacksonville. Preceded in death by her Musa Khalil (father) and Zarifeh Musa (mother) and Issa Musa (brother) and two sisters, Marim Elias and Rose Sackleh. She is survived by her sisters, Badia Elias and Namieh Totah and a brother, Khalil Musa Khalil, and many nieces and nephews. After retiring from accounting, she spent her time reading Spanish and French novels and as a faithful Catholic attended daily mass. Family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6:00 PM till 7:00 PM with a Trisgian service at 7:00 PM at St. George Antiochan Orthodox Church, 6300 Bowden Rd. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the church with Fr. Kamal Al-Rahil, officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
