Just learned of your mother's death. We are in the NC mountains, or else I would have been at her service Friday. We enjoyed many times and good conversations together, and she was the consummate churchwoman and leader. But most of all, she was perhaps the most faithful and dedicated wife and mother I have known, often in the face of great adversity. I am grateful to have known her in this life.
