

Natalie Natasha Bussey-Blair, 41, formerly of Martinez, GA passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020. She was born July 7, 1978 to Roland and Adria Bussey in Augusta, GA. At the age of 10, Natalie was baptized at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Augusta, GA. She graduated from Lakeside High School in Martinez, GA. Natalie attended Valdosta State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Communications & Disorders. At Valdosta, she was active in the campus outreach ministry and served as a missionary in Thailand. After graduation, she joined Richland county public school system in Columbia, SC as a speech pathologist. In Columbia, she became a member of First Nazareth Church and eventually relocated to Jacksonville, FL where she met and married Christopher Blair. Natalie is preceded in death by her father Roland Bussey, her grandparents Rufus and Alice Bussey and grandfather Douglas Nickelson. She is survived by her husband Christopher Blair, mother Adria Bussey (Martinez, GA), sister Myka Bussey-Campbell (Samuel Campbell III), sister Andrea Dixon (Ray), niece and nephew Kylan and Samuel Roland Campbell, a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 3:00pm-4:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
