Nel was born on July 3, 1963, in Manila, Philippines. She was a dedicated Pediatrician, devoted to her patients and her profession. Nel loved traveling and watching adventure, sci-fi, and musical shows. She loved watching the sunrise and tending to her puppies and orchids.
Nel is survived by her two children, Alyssa and Ashley; and her siblings, Ronnie, Dante, Lissy, and their families.
We will continue to carry Nel in our hearts as we go through life’s many adventures and experiences.
A visitation for Nelda will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
A memorial mass will occur on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9800 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32256. A reception will follow right after the mass at Holy Family Parish Life Center.
