Nelson Francis Fielding Jr.

Son of Nelson Francis Fielding, Sr. and Geneva Godwin Fielding, passed away peacefully at his home on October 25th, 2014, at the age of 77. He was in the first graduating class of JU, 1959. He then had a career as a claims adjuster, was Vice President of a large state-wide bank chain and lastly was a Real Estate Investor (mentor/teacher in this area), until his recent retirement. He was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed going to the movies and spending time with his family. He is survived by his dear friend Alice Fielding, son Michael Nelson Fielding, Daughter-In-Law Donna Fielding, Granddaughter Allison Fielding (Evan Cook, Fiancé), and several cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 3 at Hardage-Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4 at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
