Thinking and praying for family of Mr Nick as our kids called him, a year ago today.  

I’m so very sad to see Nicks  obit.  Have not spoken to or seen him in nearly 35 years. I loved his mother Vula and his sister Zafia.  Nicky was my best first boyfriend when I was 15 years old.  I loved him so much. !  All of my family loved Nicky. My dad did not like his long hair. But I loved it!!  All my sisters loved  Nicky. We all loved Nicky.   I will miss you forever!!! 

Nicky was our hippie boy who always hung with us on the edge of the woods behind church. I remember him flying around in his green satin tails looking like a rock star the night of the costume party. We must have been about 13 or 14. Sending my sincere condolences to Zafia, and Nicky's wife and children.

To a very dear friend that I met 30 yrs ago in the construction trade and become very good friends and working partners over the yrs.       
   He meant alot to me  and taught me alot throughout the yrs. I had the most respect for him and thankful to be a friend to each other.
I can say God only made one of him because he was a very special person. 
     I'm very thankful that Nick and I got to speak this past Friday for a while. We was catching up on what's been going on in our lives and he was so proud of his daughter and her accomplishments in her degrees and job opportunity that she has been offered, he also was so proud of his son and his accomplishments in school and the direction that he is headed in life. He was a proud father and husband with so much to be thankful for in life.
  I'm gonna miss talking , sharing stories and working with you buddy.
May God be with all your family, friends and love ones.

As a teenager, Nicky was an honorable and  great friend to all who knew him growing up.  So many of us from Wolfson High School loved and appreciated Nicky's adventure, kindness, and  outstanding character as a gentleman.  I pray that his wife and children find peace in his spirit.  Godspeed.

Felicia and family, I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. Please know your Georgia family is keeping you all in prayer. 

Colleen, please know that I am praying for your family. May God wrap His loving arms around you all giving peace, comfort and strength during this difficult time that only He can do.

I remember the day that Nick walked into my life. He came to see my sister I believe for the first time. Not one day has past since that one that the two of them have not been in love.
 There was no couple on God's earth that were more in love or meant to be together
But that wasn't the greatness of Nick.....
Through many years of trials and upevils in my life, this man stood mot only in his shoes but the shoes that I myself should've been standing in. For my Sister, my niece, my nephew , my Mother, my whole family.
Yet while Doing so, Never judged me forsake me or gave up on me. Always treating me as his very own brother.
He thought I always teased he and Felicia that they were the 2 smartest people I knew....i wasn't kidding.
He was also the best man,I've ever known.
Thank you Nicky, for all u did for me.
All though I can never fill your shoes, I give my word I will try.
I love you.
