Norman R. Rodgers, 78, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on December 25, 1941 in Jacksonville, FL and graduated from Paxon High School. Norman married the love of his life Phyllis on February 23, 1962. He worked for Smurfit-Stone Paper Mill and was a member of the Mason’s. Norman was an Army veteran and a member of Arlington Presbyterian Church. He was passionate about the University of Florida Gators and really enjoyed photography. Norman is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis, three sons, Robert “Rob” Rodgers, Michael Rodgers, Jason Rodgers, one daughter Jessica Nabavi, one brother Walter Rodgers and one sister Laura “Dee Dee” Ocadelia Taylor. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral services to be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 beginning at 11:00am with interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 1:30pm.
