Pam worked for the past five years as Patron Services Manager at the Jacksonville Symphony. She was the “face” of the box office, where she was known for her smile and professionalism. She was an avid gardener and landscape designer. Aside from gardening, Pam was passionate about baking and cooking. Family recipes handed down from her mother and grandmothers were cherished by Pam. She loved Christmas, and maintaining family traditions was very important to her. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she took great pleasure and pride in creating beautiful memories for the entire family, but most especially her sons.
She was a free spirit who loved the beach. Pam looked forward to being able to enjoy the weather and surf when she relocated to Jacksonville with her two sons in 2002. The beach was where she meditated and found peace. She always had a desire to return to the beach to live one day because it was where she was truly happy. Two sayings Pam lived by and which reflected her attitude about life were “It’s all good,” and “One day at a time.”
Pamela is survived by her two sons, Marc and Jake, who were truly the center of her world. She was a constant presence of love and guidance in their lives. She was always proud of them and so looked forward to sharing many future accomplishments and milestones with them. She loved her pets dearly, most especially her elderly dog, Stella, whom she adopted from The Old Dog House several years ago.
Besides her two sons, Pam is survived by her sisters, Christine Wright Waddell and Rebecca Wright Rosa; a brother Thomas Wright; brothers-in-law Dennis Rosa and Robert Waddell; sister-in-law Betty Wright; nephews Samuel Rosa, Jack Rosa, and Ian Wright; and nieces Emily Wright, Cate Rosa, and Carol Pirek.
