Patricia B Owen

Patricia (Patty) Burton Owen went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2014. Mrs. Owen was born on June 6, 1934 in Colorado Springs, Colorado & moved to Jacksonville as young child. She graduated from Robert E. Lee in 1952. She worked in the offices of Drs. Canipelli and Garoni in Jacksonville until her retirement. Active in her beloved Trinity United Methodist Church on Eloise Street until it closed in 2010, Patty then joined Lakeshore Baptist Church and continued to serve as a loving Christian, always willing to help others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles “Mack” Owen and her son Connie “Wayne” Wood. Patty is survived by her daughter Cynthia “Cindy” Haines (Kent), granddaughters Alicia Hackney (Hunter) and Beth Haines. She is also survived by many dear family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 23rd at 11AM at Lakeshore Baptist Church, 2363 Blanding Blvd @ Cassatt Ave., Jacksonville 32210.
