I worked with Pat for 10 years here in Jacksonville. I liked being around Pat and listening to his stories about working in Alaska, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. He was very proud of his family and it was easy to get him to brag about Connie and the boys. Unfortunately, with rotating shift work and living on opposite sides of town, it was difficult to get together to socialize. After Pat retired, we only spoke a few times. I know that he had overcome some of his health problems. It was a shock to hear he had passed away. Pat was one of my favorite people in the NWS and he will be missed.

We were so sad to hear of your loss.  Pat will be so missed ... our family has such great memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you ALL. Tim & Deby Ivy
