Pauline G. Wilson

WILSON,Pauline G. Wilson, 83, passed away March 7, 2007 peacefully with her family by her side. She was born June 7, 1923 in Jacksonville, FL where she was a lifelong resident, and member of Resurrection Catholic Church.She was a loving and dedicated mother, wife, sister, daughter and aunt. She is survived by her five children, Dorinda Allton (Cliff), Paul Wilson (Sharron), Cecile Whitt (Danny), Curtis Wilson (Carolyn), Cary Wilson (Debbie), and her brother, Raben Graham (Neena). A very caring person, she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Pauline loved bowling and was treasurer of the Christ the King Bowling League for over 40 years. She was an avid tennis fan, and enjoyed watching her late husband, Leon, play tennis at Boone Park, where he was an afternoon fixture in his later years. An “Avon Lady” for over 40 years, she never had customers, she had “friends” who bought Avon from her. Her greatest joys in life were her 9 grandchildren: Brian, Courtney, Ashley, Kerry, Shaun, Devon, Eric, Michael and Graham. A Vigil will be held at Corey - Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. at 5 p.m. Friday evening (TODAY) March 9th and the family will receive friends immediately following. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 10th at 10 a.m. in the chapel at the same location. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 N.University Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32277.
