Mr. Pierre Mkhachen passed away unexpectedly at the Mayo Clinic on February 19, 2015 at Jacksonville, Florida surrounded by his family and friends. Pierre was born June 26, 1960 in Damascus, Syria. The Mkhachen’s immigrated to Canada in 1975 where they settled in Edmonton, Alberta. Pierre and his family relocated to his present home in Jacksonville in 2002.
Pierre is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Rita; and their son, Christian; and daughter, Natalie; his mother, Jeanette; brother,Tony (Bernice) their daughters Celine and Christine; brother, Marwan; brother Simon (Claudia); and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, Ibrahim.
Prayers and Rosary service will be held Sunday, February 22 at 7:00pm at St. Ephrem’s Church located at 4650 Kernan Blvd. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 23 at 11:00am at St Ephrem’s Church. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Ephrem’s Church.
