Ralph W. Crosby

He worked in the Newport News, VA shipyards prior to working in the Electrical Contracting business as a Service Department Manager for over 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, FL, where he served as Treasurer of several of his Sunday School Classes, as well as serving as a Deacon. His favorite past times other than being with family were fishing and golf.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eunice Irene Crosby, and son Ralph W. Crosby, Jr., and five other brothers. He is survived by his sons, Ronald L. Crosby (Jeannie) Jacksonville, FL and Richard A. Crosby (Janice) Alexandra, VA, one brother Edward J. Crosby (Carrie) of Newport News, VA; four Grandchildren, eight Great-Grandchildren, many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. The family wishes to “Thank” the Life Care Center at Wells Crossing, for all their expert care.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 5733 Blanding Blvd. Jax. FL 32244, where a public visitation will be held, Wednesday May 28, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Thursday May 29, 2014, 11 AM at Hardage Giddens followed by interment at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073, Rev. Paul Murphy, First Baptist Church.
