

Rebecca Joan David of Jacksonville Florida, fondly known as “Becky” to her family. She was born to Henry W. David and Jessie I. Wilson David on November 26, 1953 in Detroit MI where she grew up and spent much of her life.
Baptized December 5, 1964 at the age of 11, Becky pioneered for many years. It brought her great joy to share her love for Jehovah with others and while pioneering she had the privilege of assisting several to come to know and love Jehovah.
She is survived by 3 Sisters – Faye Schwartz of Hubbard Lake MI, Bonnie David of Waterford MI, Pat Fitzsimmons of Waterford MI, 6 nieces, 11 great nieces and nephews, 9 great, great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. She loved her family and especially loved the times she spent with them. Often, cooking big meals and finding delight in watching them enjoy her delicious dishes. Becky was also known for her amazing memory, and she would often reminisce about the fun times she enjoyed with her family, recounting every detail with great fondness.
Becky also loved music and dancing and as a young child she played the violin and flute. She had the privilege of playing Kingdom Melodies at theocratic events, including many convention and assembly orchestral programs. One particular highlight was when Becky had the opportunity to play the violin alongside a brother who played for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Becky was especially fond of Northern Michigan and Southern Indiana where she spent many summers with her Mother Jesse’s family. In later years she enjoyed her new home in Florida and its beautiful sunsets.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday February 15, 2020 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 11225 Ashley Melisse Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32225
