DARROW- Robert "Bob" Darrow, 83, went home to be with the Lord Sept. 16, 2010. He was born in Muskogee, Okla., and moved to Jacksonville in 1943. He served in the Army in World War II and retired from the Florida East Coast Railroad and from the State of Florida's Bureau of Weights and Measures. Bob had a wonderful life. He loved the Lord, his family, friends and his church, Southside Assembly of God where he had served as a deacon and usher for many years. His hobbies included woodworking and crossword puzzles.He is survived by his wife of almost 63 years, Louise; a daughter, Kelly Darrow; a sister, Ruth Freas of Green Cove Springs; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and five sisters.Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at Southside Assembly of God, 2118 Kings Ave. with Pastor Milton Dykes officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service. Burial will be at 2:45 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery in Folkston, Ga. Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home at 940 Cesery Blvd. is in charge of arrangements.
