The Jacksonville Jewish Center community is saddened by the passing of Dr. Robert Emas, father of our member Mark Emas, in the morning on October 22nd. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 25th, in the Ahavath Chesed section of Evergreen Cemetery.
We extend our condolences to his children Mark (Holly) Emas, Larry Emas, and Lauren (Bill) Block; grandchildren Alex, Harrison, Megan, Skylar, Stephanie, Jacqueline, Amelia, Matthew and Steven; and great-grandchildren Nicholas and Michael.
A minyan will take place at 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 27th, at the home of Lauren & Bill Block, 2648 Beauclerc Road, Jacksonville.
Contributions in Robert Emas' memory may be directed to Best Friends Animals Society.
May the Holy One comfort the members of Robert's family among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
