Robert Edward Ginn, age 86, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Robert was born on July 23, 1938 in Lake City, Florida. He was the son of the late Melvin G. Ginn and Mellie D. Ginn. Robert was a graduate of White Springs High School, and also honorably and proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of Northside Fellowship, a church of the Nazarene.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ginn; and one step-son David Jinright. Robert is survived by his son, Robert L. Ginn; grandchildren Justin M. Ginn (Madison), Jeremy Jinright, and Sharon Jinright Allen; one brother, Melvin C. Ginn (Elaine); two sisters, Sybil Donaldson and Patricia Goolsby (Gerald); and one step-son, Eddie Jinright (Chicky). Robert is also survived by his special daughter, Lucy Holman, who loved and cared for Robert.
A graveside service for Robert will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date to be determined.
