I would like to share a "tender" side of Bob.  At the Resolution 5K race, about ten years ago, Bob saw his good friend, Pat Gallagher, arrive in his PU truck. Bob tenderly beckoned Pat, in a voice that could be heard a mile away, "You SOB, come over here and give me a hug". That was Bob, quiet, polite, boisterous, warm, loving all at one time.
