SHREVE – Robert E. “Bobby” Shreve, Sr., 69, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015. A Jacksonville native, Bobby graduated from Ribault High School and served in the US Navy. He worked at W. W. Gay Co. for a number of years and retired as a maintenance supervisor at Ted’s Smokehouse. Bobby was also a member of the River City Singles Dance Club. Survivors include: his close friend, Dyanne McGowan; 2 children, Shari and Robbie; 3 sisters, Carol, Linda and Patty; several grandchildren and a dear friend, Larry Cochran. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM, Monday June 8 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM with Rev. Gary Honegger officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
