HANCOCK Ronald Louis Hancock, 77, passed away on Sunday April 11, 2010. He was born on December 12, 1932 in Savannah, Georgia to Paul Elliott Hancock and Myrtis Wright Hancock.Mr. Hancock spent most of his life in Jacksonville, was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War and was the recipientof a Bronze Star with V-device and two purple hearts. He was a retired Engineer for Southern Bell. Survivors include his daughter, three sons, two sisters, two brothers and five grandchildren. Mr. Hancock was a loving Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend and will be greatly missed.A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. with military honors.The family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 8384 Baymeadows Rd.
