MAYNARD—Ronald Russell Maynard, Sr., 72, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 20, 2011 in West Palm Beach after successfully stopping his Greyhound bus when he became ill. He was a native of Logan, WV, having lived in Jacksonville for 46 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy and had driven for Greyhound Bus Lines for 39 years. Ronald was known by all as a loving husband, father and grandfather and a good friend to many. Surviving family includes: his wife of 48 years, Virginia; 4 daughters, Brenda Lycans, Enola (Tim) Pittman, Deloris (Bo) Suddueth, and Christina (Donald McMillian) Maynard; 3 sons, Ronald R. (Cindy) Maynard, Jr., Jess Spry Maynard and Otha Alan (Katherine) Maynard; a sister, Imogene Williams, a brother, Mark Maynard; 13 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. There are no immediate services planned. However, they will honor his wishes to be cremated.
