Roy will be lovingly remembered. He leaves his wife, Edie, Children Tracy King and Michael King and grandchildren, Lily, Anthony, and Elena.
There will be services at 11am on 13 October at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, 32223.
Roy graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and Florida Junior College. He honorably served in the Air Force and married Edie King. He retired from the City of Jacksonville after 25 years as an associate engineer.
He was the Commander of the American Legion Post 88 twice. He loved to shoot pool, play guitar, listen to music and play golf.
He will be sorely missed.
A memorial service for Roy will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
