FRANKLIN.......R. Norman (Norm) Franklin, 86, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012. He was born in Millsboro, Delaware. Mr. Franklin was a veteran of World War II. Upon his discharge from the Army, he moved to New Jersey in 1946 and relocated to Jacksonville in 1974. He was the proprietor of Norm's Foreign Car in Irvington, New Jersey. Mr. Franklin was a veteran automotive service executive and was named service instructor for the eastern U. S. with Japan Toyota Motor Co. He also was employed by Saab Scania, Fiat Motors of America, and retired with American Isuzu. Mr. Franklin was a member of Selva Marina Country Club for 22 years and was President of the Optimist Club. Norman is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Josephine (Jo); son, Gary (wife, Phyllis), and many cousins and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16th at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m Saturday, March 17th, entombment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery, with military honors
