

Sandra (Sandy) Kay McMurray, age 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center South. She was born in Orlando, FL on February 11, 1947, to Harold “Mack” and Betty McMurray. Sandy graduated from Bethel University in Minnesota and enjoyed a successful career in banking.
Sandy is survived by her mother, Betty McMurray of Jacksonville, as well as three sisters, JoAnn McMurray Nolin of Jacksonville, Carol Maddle (Jack) of Winston-Salem, NC, and Lisa Parker (Chris) of Orlando, and her cousin Warren Magnuson.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews including Cheri Nolin Horton, Karen Nolin and Scott Nolin (Korianne), Ryan and Jason Maddle, Cynthia, Amanda, and Jessica Fulwood, and Joshua (Kristina), Samantha and David Parker. Sandy is survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews including Eric Horton (Margot), Noah Watkins, Lillian Nolin, Landon Rodriguez, and Connor and Lucas Parker, as well as great-great nephew Brayden Horton and great-great niece Hadley Horton.
Sandy was a member of Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of puzzles and reading, skill at winning board games, and love for her family.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 beginning at 3pm at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
