

She was a proud graduate of William M. Raines High School, class of 1972, where she was a member of the marching band. After graduation, she continued her education at Florida A&M University, where she became a member of the Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and later graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She had an amazing career as a pharmacist until she retired, working in hospital, retail, mom & pop shops, major chains and even owning her own pharmacy. Her staff always loved her! She lovingly referred to her last crew at J&J Pharmacy as “her girls”!
Sharon had the gift of hospitality and a heart to give! She made everyone feel at home in her presence and like they had known her for years. When you came into her life, you always left with a full belly, a full heart, a full bag of goodies and/or a full bank of memories!
She believed in long-term relationships. Many of her best friends have been by her side since childhood. Her Allen in-laws were family even after her marriage to the late Albert Timmons, making them all one big family.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Albert L.Timmons, first husband, Randy E. Allen, sister, Gwendolyn Donald, brother, Samuel James Donald, III, brother-in-law, Arthur Perry and her parents, Samuel James Donald, II & Ethel Mae Donald.
She is survived by her only daughter, Randi Jenee Norman (Gary, II); two grandchildren: Leila Norman & Gary Norman, III; two sisters: Joyce Perry & Loretta Williams (Saleem Sadiq) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and extended family and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 10AM at The Heir Church, 159 Clark Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218
