Shirley Delia Mary (Belonger) Mitchell passed away on October 20, 2014. She was born on April 9, 1925 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Isadore Belonger and Cecelia (Stadinger) Belonger. She graduated from nursing school in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Florida. She married Dr. Wallace H. Mitchell in 1948. They lived in Key West, Baltimore, Ithaca, St. Louis, and finally Jacksonville, Fl. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Susan. She is survived by her daughter, Edna, and grandchildren, Cassidy Gard, Cullen and Shae Jones. She was a Catholic and loved her family, friends, and cats. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society. Interment will take place in Oaklawn Cemetery. HARDAGE-GIDDENS, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family.
