Steven Hughes Brown

BROWN - Steven Hughes Brown passed away peacefully on June 3, 2020. After graduating from Bishop Kenny High School and the University of North Florida, he spent several years living in Denver, a city he deeply loved. He moved back to Jacksonville in 2017.

Steven was an avid surfing enthusiast and was at his happiest when near the ocean. He loved listening to music and spending time with friends and family. Steven was especially known for his smile, which lit up whatever room he was in.

He is survived by his son, Piercen, who he loved more than anything in this world. Steven is also survived by his parents, Mary Ann and Philip Brown; and his siblings Sara (Brian) Corrigan, Jonathan Brown, and Jennifer Delauter. In addition, he is survived by his cousin (a brother in spirit), Justin (Ashley) Jones, along with three nieces and nephews, Davis, Avery, and Patrick; numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and Piercen’s mother, Daisy Dietrich.
