

Tammy Sue Melvin, 54, was called home to the Lord on July 22, 2019. Born on September 22, 1964, she was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida and passed away peacefully at home, in her sleep, after a long illness.
Tammy attended Ed White high School and graduated class of 1982. She furthered her education and graduated from Jones college in 1993. She also spent many years modeling, which was perfect for her because her beauty was absolutely astounding.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Edward Pasco Melvin and her Mother, Sarah Virginia Fisher. She is survived by her fiance and best friend Jesse Jones, her only daughter Cherie Dorlac and son-in-law Brian Smith, four grandchildren, that she adored, Lily, Logan, Luke and Sarah Smith. She also leaves behind three Brothers, Mason Butcher, David Butcher, and Robert Butcher. One sister, Cheryl Chairmont. There will be a private Memorial at Corey-Kerlin funeral homes at a later date.
Tammy will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for her beauty and her outgoing and energetic soul.
