Terry L Cochran

Terry L. Cochran, Sr. of Camilla, Georgia, passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 74, in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. His battle with recent medical issues showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile and perseverance. Despite the pain and uncertainty, Terry came out a hero and stayed strong until his last breath.

As a child, Terry excelled in football and baseball, which propelled his love of golf for over 50 years. Terry was a loyal and dedicated employee and retired from GMAC after 40 years working in Finance. He had an extremely impressive work ethic and was not content with retirement so he went back to work with his cousin Glynn at the Scott McCrae Group, up until he passed.

Upon talking to Terry there was one thing you would quickly realize, his love for his children. Terry is survived by his loving children, Terry Cochran Jr, Tiffany Regalado, and Heather Spears. He was a proud Grandfather to Leah, Luis and Liam. Also by his Aunt Ann Wimberly, Cousin Sharon Gore, and Cousin Glynn Wimberly. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will surely be missed.

Terry had a passion for the Moose, an organization that cares for children and the elderly. He was voted in as the Governor of Moose Lodge 42 for four years.

In lieu of flowers kindly consider donating in Loving Memory of Terry Cochran Sr. to First Tee. A nonprofit organization that teaches children life skills through purposed golf lessons.

A celebration of life for Terry will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
