Theresa Elizabeth Apple

Theresa Elizabeth Apple, age 54, passed away on June 28, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by her loving family members. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on August 30, 1963 to parents Dr. John T. Evans Jr. and Evelyn Evans.

Theresa completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Florida State University in English. She worked as a Supervisory Claims Examiner for the U.S. Department of Labor. Theresa was an avid Florida State Seminoles fan and enjoyed watching every football game. She was very devoted to both her family and friends. She was a loving mother, wife, and caregiver. In her spare time, Theresa loved to work in the garden and grow her own vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Her favorite pastimes were reading and spending time with her family. Theresa had a unique style and eclectic personality. She will always be remembered for her love, warmth, care, and the joy she received gloating over a Florida State victory.

She is survived by her loving husband, David P. Apple, whom she was married to for 28 years, her two children, Paul and Erin Apple, and her sister Ann Ramos.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 in St. Joseph's Historic Old Church, 4214 Loretto Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. A Reception will follow at 12:00 pm, Saturday July 7, 2018 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32223.
