Teri’s life was marked by a vibrant spirit and a deep connection to the people and places she cherished. Her early career began with style as a model for Jantzen Sportswear. She later found her calling in Sales and Hospitality, where her natural ability to connect with others transformed every interaction into a meaningful relationship.
While she appreciated quiet moments spent with a newspaper or a good book, Teri truly thrived in the company of others. Her warm presence made everyone feel welcome, and she dedicated herself to causes close to her heart. She was especially proud of her volunteer work with the Fernandina Beach Turtle Patrol, where she was honored as Volunteer of the Year.
Teri was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years, Bud Coffey; her parents, Stephen and Sophie; and her siblings, Dolores Stopka, Eugene Novel, Richard Novel, Steve Novel, and Anne Knuth. She leaves behind a legacy of joy shared with her many nieces, nephews, and stepchildren. She also held deep gratitude for her friend, Jo and Richard Hudson, whose sons brought her immense happiness with every visit.
A Mass celebrating Teri’s life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 9800 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, FL.
Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.
