Dear Mom, On your birthday-as I was missing and thinking of you deeply; I prayed to the Lord. I am so priviledged that I got to spend your last birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas with you.  Now this is your first Christmas with Jesus.  
You loved little children, and I am sure you are welcoming the 20 little ones from the Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut.  Our pastor said it was the same number that Herod took when Jesus was a baby.
Indeed, they are now in a "new" town with Jesus.

Our Mom

Our Mother's love had no strings attached.  It was unconditional, truly unmatched.  She stood by us, through thick and thin.  She was strong in faith from deep within.  Everything she did was with us in mind--a giving Mother--the unselfish kind. She put us first above everything. 

I miss you mom--I cannot wait to see you again. I know I will; because of our Lord and Savior--Jesus.

I have so many wonderful memories of your Mom when we visited Waukegan on our many summer vacations.  She was so warm and loving - always ready to give of herself to others.  I remember being there one time when Uncle Vic was sick.  Our schedule was hectic and I didn't get to wash my hair in the morning.  Aunt Theresa offered to let me use her shower later that day and then she dried and styled my hair for me.  I will never forget how comforted she made me feel.  I know you miss you but you have many wonderful memories to always keep her with you.

So sorry to hear of your loss.  My fondest memory of Aunt Theresa goes back to the year I was 16.  She found me a childcare summer job with a Dr. Krueger family in Waukegan.  On my days off, I'd walk over to her house on Chestnut Street, where she'd take this "country bumpkin" under her wing.  There she helped me with my first sewing project amd I remember an incident with her new iron.  I remember her red/white enamel-top kitchen table, where we'd have crackers or bread, and she always said I had to butter them first!  She helped me to spread my wings during my first time away from home and the farm in WI.   She was a wonderful substitute mother that Summer!

She was very sweet, but so much more than that, she was a strong, and wise.  She taught me a great deal on our little walks to Cribbs, or walking around her back yard to look at her flowers. I only met your mother twice, but I remember feeling her love, she kissed me more than once as if we had always known each other. I have so many warm memories of your mom, Terry, Betty and Mary.  She was so so sweet.  I recall being at your house visiting Mary in grade school and having her offer us a snack.  I remember her encouraging me to spread some butter on something, I think it was a cracker.  She said if I ate butter, my joints would move better and that if I ate fish, I could swim faster.  It made quite the impression on me as you can see, I never forgot such wisdom.  Dr. Oz should look into this!!  Loved your mom.  You know my dad greeted her with a great big bear hug.
