Thomas Kevin Hogan

Kevin was a native of Jacksonville, a 1971 graduate of Paxon High School. He served in the U.S. Navy, a retiree of JEA, and currently employed with Anheuser Busch.

Kevin was a past Master of Ezra Masonic Lodge 67, F&AM, and a member of Oceanway Masonic Lodge 279, F&AM.

He was currently the President of Teamster Union Local 947.

He received his AS degree from FCCJ and continued his pursuit of learning. He was always eager to try the newest technology.

Kevin loved being outdoors, working in his yard or riding his Harley Davidson.

Kevin was a devoted husband, father, and son. He was proud of his sons and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Alton and Grace J. Hogan. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kathy, and his sons James Daniel, Thomas Aaron, and adopted son Joseph Starratt. Sister, Gayle Linkous (Pete).

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave., Jacksonville. Followed by burial at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Northeast Florida.

Kathy extends her gratitude to family, extended family, friends, co-workers, for all their prayers and support during Kevin’s illness. Thank you all.
