Timothy John Horn

Timothy J. Horn born in Fort Bragg, NC on March 1, 1967 passed away on November 25, 2017. He was the son of the late Glenn R. Horn and the late Judy Ann Horn-Lanoue. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Elizabeth L. Horn; children, Faith Renee Horn and John Russell Horn; sister, Kimberly Watkins; brother, William Horn; best friend, Denny Penner and host of extended family and friends. Tim proudly graduated from Penn State University in 1989. He started his successful career at Comcast in Charleston, SC in 1999 where he met the love of his life and started his family. In 2006, they moved to St. Johns, FL where Tim accepted the general manager position with Comcast in Jacksonville. In 2017, Tim ventured into a new chapter of his life in real estate. He found his niche with Keller-Williams Realty and was very excited about pursuing this career. Tim was very successful in his career, but his greatest accomplishments in life were being a devoted and loving husband, father, son and friend. He was very dedicated to his community and spent time volunteering as a Cub Scout leader and a basketball and football coach. He was a man who appreciated tradition - golfing, Penn State football, his Steelers and Jaguars. When he was just asked what he wanted for Christmas, his reply was, “I have everything I’ve ever wanted-my beautiful wife and children.” The Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 2 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
