Virginia attended school at Mars Hill Academy, Mars Hill, NC, and Elon College (University) where she was a member of Delta Upsilon Kappa Sorority and the Elon choir. She also graduated from the Burlington Business College. She was married to Martin Noon of Long Island, NY, who predeceased her.
She is survived by her two sons, Gerry (Marilyn) and Dennis; one step-granddaughter, Cindy Szczecinski (Steve); and two great-grandchildren, William and Caroline.
A private family graveside for Virginia will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
