BRYAN—Walter Robert “Bob” Bryan, 73, of Callahan passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007. He was a native of Kinston, NC and had retired from the FAA. Bob was a member of First Baptist Church of Callahan and had served in the US Air Force. Survivors include: his wife, Lou Ell Bryan; a daughter, Cynthia Diane Clemmons; 4 step-daughters, Tracy (Joe) Crapo, Shelly (Steven) Thigpen, Judy (Randy) Cannon, and Diana Temple; 2 step-sons, Greg (Barbara) Nichols and Kenneth Evans; and 11 grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Jacksonville with Rev. Joseph Howell and Mr. Joseph Crapo officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to SafeHouse Ministry, 3325-9 Plymouth St., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
