William Franklin "Tripp" Horne III

Tripp was born on November 20, 1995, in Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Julianne Horne; brother, Justin Horne; grandmothers, Dot Horne and Ellen Flynn; as well as uncles, aunts, and cousins.

An avid boater, Tripp’s favorite times were spent on the water, usually with a fishing rod in hand. It wasn’t about catching the biggest fish, but about being outside and enjoying the moment. That’s where he found the greatest peace, and he shared that feeling with everyone who joined him. Tripp was also a history buff and could talk at length about any historical event, especially the Civil War and WW II. He cherished his family and friends, and made sure the people he loved knew it. Although he will be missed every day, we’ll hold on to the memories of his stories, his infectious laugh and sense of humor that could light up the room.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Chapel, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223 beginning at 1pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home following at 2pm.
