William Joseph Lutringer

William (Bill) Joseph Lutringer, 85, passed into his eternal rest on December 28, 2024. Bill was born in Pittston, PA on July 11, 1939. Bill was proud to have served his country as a soldier in the U.S. Army. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Bill was a kind and loving man with a big heart. He will be profoundly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Lutringer; sons Joseph and Thomas Lutringer; daughter Dawn Castillo (Lutringer) and son-in-Law Russell Castillo; grand daughter Breana McDonald and husband Bailey McDonald; sisters Elaine Lutringer and Carol Heuss and husband Alan Heuss; nephew Erik Hornung and wife Amy Hornung.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Lutringer, and sister Maryann Lutringer.

Public memorial gathering to be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223 on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5pm - 7pm. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218 on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10:00 am.
