Wilma Jean Smith, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born in Coal Creek, Tennessee and moved to Florida in 1957. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Smith; parents, Luke and Bess Hatmaker; and brother, Bob Hatmaker. Wilma is survived by her children Linda Smith, Don (Diane) Smith, Rick (Beverly) Smith; grandchildren, Michelle (Bill) Stuhl, Heather (Sam) Zakaria, Allison (Kris) Rock; great-grandchildren, Lily, Ashton, Zoe; her sister, Jackie House; and her faithful beloved dog, Jake.
The family will receive friends at the Hardage-Giddens, Hendricks Chapel, 4115 Hendricks Avenue from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, September 28, 2015. The funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Hendricks Chapel, with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
