Woodrow Wilson Crites Jr., age 72, passed away on June 18, 2021. Wilson was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Woodrow and Josephine Crites. Wilson led a very full and exciting life. From racing to Corvettes to making perfectly crafted shadow boxes commemorating his granddaughter’s achievements, he made sure every moment counted. He ensured that his beloved wife, his kids and grandkids all knew they were loved dearly and extremely that they were all extremely special.
Wilson is survived by his loving wife Marti Crites; daughters, Julie Sims and Judie Robinson; grandson, Jarrod Crites; granddaughters, Brandy Pilinci, Autumn Hutchinson, Kallie Helmly, Katelyn Clemons; great grandsons, Jax Crites and Daniel Crites; great granddaughters, Briana Pilinci, Bleona Pilinci, Blakelyn Helmly; brother, Mitchell Crites; sister, Carole Jo Byrd; and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
